Klas Reweij appointed CFO of NYAB

Luleå Klas Rewei will be the Swedish-Finnish NYAB Group's CFO and a member of the Group Management.

He comes most recently from a similar position at Ework Group, and before that at Tyréns AB. He has also worked in the manufacturing industry.

At NYAB, his mission will be to lead the Group's financial strategy and operations, and drive value creation and growth initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions.

"Klas' extensive experience, results-oriented approach and deep understanding of value creation with people as the greatest asset make him a sought-after addition to our team. His leadership will be instrumental in driving our financial strategy and achieving our long-term goals," says Johan Larsson, CEO of NYAB.

Klas Reweij will take up his position on 2 December and succeeds Aku Väliaho, who earlier this autumn decided to leave NYAB for a job outside the Group.

NYAB was founded in Luleå and works with earthworks, infrastructure and specialized construction activities. In recent years, the company has grown to a turnover of billions of Swedish kronor with assignments over a large part of the country, not least in Stockholm and the region around the capital. At the end of 2021, the Finnish Skarta Group Abp acquired the NYAB Group in a share swap agreement. In the autumn of 22 the new group changed its name to NYAB as 70 percent of the company's turnover is generated in Sweden.
