Kibe Oy to build concrete station in Luleå

Luleå The Finnish group Kibe Oy, through its Swedish subsidiary Gällivare Betong, wants to build a concrete station in Måttsund near Luleå.

The plan is to build a mobile concrete production facility. Gällivare Betong wants to be close to the major industrial projects underway in the Luleå region of Norrbotten. The location in Måttsund provides close access to a quarry operated by the construction company BDX and connecting roads. The cement comes via the port of Luleå.

The plant will employ three workers plus a couple of drivers. The swedish company has operations in Gällivare, Pajala and Markbygden at the wind farm today.

Gällivare Betong is owned by the Finnish group Kibe Oy, which has about 40 concrete stations in Finland. The Swedish subsidiary Gällivare betong had a turnover of SEK 74 million last year.
