W3 Energy manages one third of Swedish wind power

Piteå Piteå-based company W3 Energy doubled the amount of wind power it manages in 2022, from 1,860 megawatts to 4,300 megawatts. This represents one third of all wind power produced in Sweden.

For 2022, the company anticipated a 25 percent growth rate. Instead, growth more than doubled.

"It is true that 2022 was another record year and we are of course proud of the trust our clients have placed in us. I see it as good evidence that we have succeeded both in attracting cutting-edge expertise to the team and can offer environments characterized by job satisfaction and forward thinking. I believe that our striving for gender balance plays an important role in this, as it contributes to an atmosphere that employees appreciate," says Pär Dunder, CEO of W3 Energy.

Following growth in 2022, the company now manages 32% of Swedish wind power.

"We have also launched two new business areas, Electrical Operations and IT Management, both of which have performed well and shown that there is a demand for this type of service. 2023 also looks really strong and we are in the process of recruiting a number of new employees to the team," says Pär Dunder.

The Piteå company W3 Energy changed its name from Svevind Solutions when management took over the company three years ago. W3 Energy manages the operation, maintenance and optimization of wind farms. The company has offices in Piteå, Skellefteå and Umeå.
