H2 Green Steel is Nobel Prize Outreach’s first startup partner

Boden H2 Green Steel in Boden and Nobel Prize Outreach will work together to inspire and spread knowledge about scientific creativity, sustainability and digitalization.

Nobel Prize Outreach AB is a subsidiary of the Alfred Nobel Memorial Foundation and works worldwide with events, digital media, special exhibitions and activities related to Alfred Nobel's legacy and the achievements of the Nobel Laureates.

Nobel Prize Outreach collaborates with a few selected long-term corporate partners - Nobel International Partners. H2 Green Steel is the first startup partner.

Nobel Prize Outreach AB will maintain and develop the Nobel Foundation's brands that the company has at its disposal through license agreements. It provides information about, and wants to create increased interest in, the Nobel Prize, Nobel Prize-winning achievements and Nobel Laureates. It operates through activities related to media, culture and education.

H2 Green Steel was founded in 2020 and is building a factory for fossil-free steel production in Boden. The founder and largest owner of H2 Green Steel is Vargas Holding, founded by Carl-Erik Lagercrantz and Harald Mix. Vargas is also the founder and one of the major shareholders of battery manufacturer Northvolt.
